Do you have anything you plan to change about your financial situation in 2007? Have you set goals?

I have no real Financial goals yet. Or put it this way they have not changed much from last year. I have talked about doing things differently, but have nothing yet.

I'm focusing on reducing debt at a faster rate and increasing the amount I have in savings.

I hear you Tai. I am already reducing my debt and having more in my savings. Yay to that!

My goal is to get out of debt this year. I don’t know how it’s going to happen, but it will.

Have you started to put together a plan? Do you know how much debt you have? Is it consumer (CC), medical, mortgage, etc? Have you moved to lower the interest you're paying? Have you put together a monthly budget?

It is tough for a freelancer to set a budget when you are spending more time looking for work than doing the work. Networking is key to surviving..but then you have to get the good clients.

I don’t own a house but rent a two bedroom apartment. I might as well buy a house at the rent I am paying! But I have heard people have spent more money on their homes than if they were to rent and invest their money elsewhere.

I have a trust fund that is getting disbursed to me to take care of my credit card debt. It will be paid off in another month or so. I have already paid off some of it.

Is it time for you to try to hook up with an agency? Are you doing enough self-marketing?
