About credit cards

Hi everyone,

I was wondering, when you pay something with a credit card.. let's say a bank of america credit card. When you pay a hotel in Canada. Do they charge you in it the conversion from US dollars to Canadian dollars? The prices in the website are displayed in Canadian Dollars.

sure they convert and charge your account in Dollars, there is a minimal charge usually but BoA is one of the worst so I do not know the percentage they are of from the middle exchange rate

but is there an advantage or is it the same charges
as when using a debit card?

there is not really a difference but I advise not to use a debit card because if things go wrong you can not dispute the charge
