Default advice for best secured credit card

i just filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy and was wondering if anyone on here had any advice/experience with secured credit cards? i want to start rebuilding my credit as soon as possible.

which ones are good? i know a lot of them have annual fees etc.... and i want to try to get the most out of it without paying people for it!

Be sure to ask the company that you choose if they report to the credit bureaus and which ones before signing up. A lot, do not and your just wasting your time. Good Luck

My sister's first card was a secured credit card which she got through Bank of America. We were inexperienced with credit and went in to the bank one day and talked to a credit specialist who helped us apply for our first cards.

I'd suggest going to your bank or credit union and see if they can help you. My sister's secured credit card had no annual fee, and after having the card for a year, her credit was good enough to be approved for an AMEX Blue Cash card.
