Default Advice on joint credit card to raise credit

Hi im looking for advice on raising my credit score
I am about to open up a joint credit card account with my mom, she has a perfect credit score while I have absolutely no credit. I was curious to know is it possible for me to piggy back off her credit rating?
Also what credit card do you guys prefer for this? Once again it will be a joint credit card account and my main goal is to raise my credit score

You can piggy back off someone else, but many card companies are now starting to get rid of this trick. If you do decide to do that, be sure you ask if the card company will report the credit history on your credit. Also, be sure she really does have exceptional credit. You can hurt yourself pretty bad if she does not or starts losing her credit status. Depending on your age, you might be better off starting your credit history on your own.
