Default Anyone Plz... Help.... advice.

Wife has done me in good. bBrought me to the Kansas area away from my family and friends in Las Vegas and has left me. Drove the hell out of my Van and is in need of a transmission. Still owe 17k and payments are 467.00 a month and transmission will be about 3 to 5 k.

What to do. Should I buy a cheap car and Should I let it be repossessed afterwards.
I have been trying to fix credit score
and its almost at 600 but this will then do what.?

Help

if you cann't fix it negotiate with the lender for some time to pay, by the way NV is a community state, get back there and file for divorce, if she has more than you than......Is she on the loan for the car?

anyway Kansas without a car is almost impossible, get a junker at least, there are plenty out there.

okay, so its a dead horse, talk to the car lender for an extension or eventually if it is a car company if you could trade it in. I did that with BMW they fixed the car added the value of the repair to the contract and then bought the same car again at the old loan value plus repair on a new contract, its a while back and I'm not sure they do it these days.

Have you talked to an attorney re: the divorce? Has she officially filed?
Depending on your state, she might be responsible for 50% of the debt you have.

Go back to your lender and refinance your vehicle; ask them to allow a new transmission to be included in the amount.

If you put a new transmission in it how much do you think you will be able to sell it for? Would it be enough to clear out to car loan? If you are able to do that I would by a cheap car for cash and avoid any more debt.
