Default Best companies to invest in?

If I had some money to invest, what are the companies that best meet these qualifications?

Low price-to-dividend ratio (e.g. divide the price by the quarterly dividends, and you've got the ratio, so low price, high dividend, is ideal). Remember, I'm asking for a ratio, not a flat number.

Stable history. See, when you invest, you want a company that's been around for a long time, and knows what they're doing, almost to the point of it being like sex with a wife of 20 years; you'll get there, but you'll just be going through the motions).
