Personally I only use a credit card with my normal bank account, and it's paid off fully at the end of each month, so interest rates don't really apply.

I really do not think there is a best credit card. I agree with everyone else. It depends on how you use it.

I like my American Express card. They offer a nice rewards program, and it is accepted almost anywhere.

Amex hands down! Interest rates do make a difference to me as I have used 0% interest cards to write myself a low-rate loan which has enabled my husband and I to pay off our car and furniture with no interest or balance fee! We are now utilizing a 0% for the life of the balance card to pay off our home equity loan. We are saving our money in high interest rate savings account and using the 0% cards for our expenditures.

Interest rates on credit cards are very high but I love the cards...I just have to try not to go crazy with them.

That's what I was wondering...I always wondered if you could pay off the credit card balance with money from your bank account to reduce interest costs...thanks for informing me.

If you want to shop around there is a website you can go to that lets you compare credit cards in one place. You can see their promotional offers, if they have fees, what the APR is or will be after promotional offer. They also have things like cash back, rewards programs and stuff like that. It makes shopping around alot easier when you can compare them all at the same time.

If you are interested in the web site just let me know
