Default Broker Firm

Hello,
I am thinking to open an investment account with one of the broker firms out there and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks,

Are you looking for someone to manage your investments, or instead to manage where you invest yourself?

I want to manage it myself. I more interested in buying stocks and etfs. This is going to be my first time and I am looking forward to it.

There're plenty of stockbrokers around and it's important that you check their trading fees. TD and ETrade are quite good.

I like thinkorswim, low fees, great free trading platform (rivals trade station imho). Also imho stay away from etf's they're doomed.

After using some brokerage firms I came to the conclusion that WallStreet*E is one of the better ones I've used.
