Hmmmmmm, Budget and Marriage!

I'll throw in my 2 cents.

Stop comingling your money with your wife's and don't put your name on her debt or credit cards.

The ("cant take it with you when you die" attitude towards money.) are the same people who beg the government for help later in life.

The only way to accumulate money is by not consuming every dime one makes and then some. Regardless of income, there are many high wage earners who are effectively as broke and more in debt than the high school kid working at MickyD's.
