Do you believe honest people can become wealthy? I have often heard people say that only the dishonest business people make money.

its hard yes they can, it may be easier for the dishonest, both are dealing with completely different risks, both can loose for different reasons, question is which one is happier?

Honest people can become wealthy as long as they stay out of debt, live on less than they earn, budget, and invest/save. Pretty simple, eh? Too bad most people don't do it. I guess they like being slaves to the lending masters.

I really think that depends on how you define wealthy. What you advocate is a good idea for many people to be the millionaire next door, but you certainly will not be cruising around on a private jet from clipping coupons and saving all you can on $100k/year.
