Hey everyone, I would like to compile a list of the different careers in the financial industry and the different degrees/certifications you need for them, if you have any knowledge on this subject please post, I'll try to keep this top post updated.

Depending on what you hope to do, education and licenses vary. I will not speak for others, but I have a mortgage license, securities license (6,63), and Life/Health license. This allows me to do most of the things I want to do for now. Additionally, I intend to add to my securities with a series 7, 24 or 26, and 65. These will give me access to more products and better service for my customers. I also hope to add a CLU designation or other professional recognition in the next couple of years. This all adds credibility.

Here are some I can think of:
1. Investment banking
2. Sales and Trading
3. Equity Research
4. Asset Management
5. Private Wealth Management
6. Financial Analyst for large corporation
7. Financial Advisor

Do you know if any company is looking to sponsor for tyhe Series 6 & 63 exams. I am very much interested in obtaining these certifications. How do I go about the entire process.
