Default CCJs

In the past I have had a poor credit history, including 3 CCJ's.
I am now in a very good job and have had all my CCJ's settled, over 3 years ago now. I realise that the judgements stay on my credit report for 6 years though, meaning that getting a loan is very hard. No regular banks will touch anyone with CCJ's.

After searching Moneysupermarket I have found a couple of loan companies that offer rates of approx 15%, but have not applied for any as I thought that I would seek advise first. I am not a home owner, as I live with my partner, so have no mortgage, hence an unsecured loan would be the way forward for me.

Thank you in advance of any advise.

Well, 15% isn't really that bad - especially when you think that's comparable with many credit cards.

In fact, is borrowing from a lower interest credit card even an option for you?
