Hi, I am looking for some help with a Bank of America problem.
I have had two debits taken out of my account from a merchant. I had my card behind the bar for a bill of 350 dollars. The check was settled by someone else and my card was given back to me and I was told my card would not be charged. The card was charged and the bank are saying they do not have to have proof of a signed recipt. I understood that under the fair credit reporting act a debit or credit can only be authorised if under 20 dollars? Can i ask the bank to prove that the check was signed? Thanks |

First Im not sure why anyone would bank with BOA, they have the highest costs and almost any bank gives better rates. Fair debt reporting act has nothing to do with your account. This is for credit reportin*** Disputing accounts used to be fairly easy 5 or 6 years ago, now its next to impossible to get credits even when due.
