Some good info from everybody. First you need to figure out what type of investing you want to do. Day trading is very risky at best and few people make any money. If you are just starting out, which is what it sounds like, than you need to figure out first where your interests in investing are. Do you like stocks? Do you like mutual funds? Do you like real estate? All of the above?
Go to amazon.com and put in the search box financial books and see what comes up. That will give you a starting point to what investing has to offer. Good luck.
