Many people believe in Feng Shui to solve or to remedy their financial problems. Do you think Feng Shue is worth a try? Or it would be better if a person improves his budget management instead of believing in Feng Shui?

Unique, I don't see it as being much different from praying for a debt miracle. If you want results, you're going to have to put in the effort. If you get a pyschological boost from arranging your furniture, lighting candles, or praying - while you're working to make it happen, more power to you.

I think that getting your household in order and keeping it there will help you get other aspects of you life in order and keep them there as well. In this sense, it could help.

Like Taia, I have to say that unless you put in the effort to get it right, your finances will always be a mess.

I really cannot see Feng Shui or praying working on it's own. I think no matter what you believe in to change your way of living.

I think it takes a lot of work and spending less along with discipline and focus to get debt down.

You know the old saying God helps those who help themselves. I think one of the major strategies is to open our minds to alternative ways to be abundant..and never focus on getting out of debt but rather on having abundance come to you from more than one avenue.

Feng Shui is just another myth that has no bearing on reality. It will not help with debt for a variety of reasons.

A very clear example of this is the fact that any Feng Shui practitioner who could prove these claims to be real could claim a cool $1,000,000 prize from the JREF - James Randi Educational Foundation — Home Page

So far the prize has been very safe from them.

That's a great link Bill, I liked the "Canadian Malcontent" particularly.

Feng Shui might be a nice complement to organizing your life, which could help with finances if done in the right way, but if you're in serious debt, you need to face the facts and focus on how to rid yourself of the debt. Feng Shui alone is just ignoring the problem.
