Default Finance Planner

Which software to use for planning future finances? I have found Finance Planner 1.0. but it seems doesnt suits for that task. I think it can be used only to track expenses and incomes

Hands down for me, Quicken.

Thanks, but I'm not Mac user, I want to find something on Windows. Also as I know Quicken is too big gun I need something lightweight.

Well Quicken is for Mac or PC and was available for PC before Mac. But, they have a basic version called Quicken Deluxe for $39.99

I like YNAB - it's an envelope based budgeting system. Not too complicated, imports bank transactions, categorizes expenses, schedules bill payments. Mainly helps get you out of debt and plan for future expenses.

I've never heard of Quicken on Mac, but I have it on a PC. Quicken is great because you tailor it for your own needs. When I first bought it over a decade ago, I used it only for my checking account but have gradually incorporated more of its features. There are probably many great programs, but I have used Quicken and think it's very easy and helpful to use.
