Default Financial goals

What are your long term financial goals? Do you have goals like having a corpus of $5,00,000 or a million in total worth, before you retire in today's valuation?

My goal is to be able to support my daughter to be able to do what she likes when she is older!
And for myself and my partner to be able to retire comfortably!

one of my long-term goals is to earn passive income from 4 real estate investment(preferably apartments or condos). i'd like to earn enough passive income each month which can allow me to travel to different places even for several months with my children and husband. that way, i could also afford to spend more time with them if i want to since i'm not shackled like a prisoner to my job.

My financial goals are not to be rich. I just want my husband and I too be able too live comfortable. I have nothing I need . I just want too be able to be happy and enjoy each other.

Realistic goals:

Pay off all consumer debt
Pay off mortgage early
Partially fund my children's college educations
Build a dream home
Have enough to retire on
Love my career so much that I don't want to retire
Own land in at least two states

Unrealistic goals:
Dream home = estate complete with pools, pond, guest houses, etc.
Be obscenely wealthy and use most of it to effect positive changes in this world, both domestic and abroad.
That's pretty much it for the unrealistic/unreasonable stuff. lol

My goal now is to see our unfinished house completed and save enough for my children's education.

Long term goals include an online business that can support me and my family and to acquire an area of land where I can plant varieties of fruit trees.

I remember a financial advisor who said she used to have a 10 year plan, and and a 5 year plan..that is, until she got breast cancer. Then, it was a major wake-up call..and her yearly plans distintegrated to a daily plan. It sure makes you think.
