I got my credit report a few months ago, but could not discern what I owed or to whom. So the question is, how does one find out their debts in a situation such as this?
If you have a copy of your credit report, it should have a list of your creditors towards the end with their phone number. Call them up and talk to them. Find out if your accounts are still with the company or if they have gone to an "outside" collection agency. If they have, they should be able to tell you who has it and give you the contact information. From there, you can find out how much you owe. And since it has been months since you have made payments, you can look into debt settlement (on your own).
