"Public Records" are open and available to anyone to "view" without charge.

If you are wanting copies of case file documents then the Clerk's office usually charges something per page, maybe 50 cents or a buck and certified copies are more depending on what you're researching. Some things are available on-line for free.

This is why, in my opinon, a Revocable Trust coupled with a Fixed Annuity is a very efficient and PRIVATE method of transfering one's Estate to their children and/or beneficiares.

Nothing would be of PUBLIC RECORD when transfered by those means.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, an annuity, upon whatever form, is the most misunderstood of all financial vehicles.
