first you make a list what you feel is necessary, than you structure it and after that start writing a business plan with financials, refine it in detail etc, that will take about 1 to 3 month intensive work, scout the resources available and make a list how fast and how detailed the appication has to be, after that you will know how to and what money is necessary and what it takes and you will be conversant with every detail.

The real concern in any business is no doubt to raise the funds for the business. Congrats for having the business big idea and now you will have to work on how to raise the funds and honestly speaking, it's a tough and time consuming task but never give up if you have a bid idea with you.

I experienced launching my own business and man it wasn't that easy. I overlooked a lot of things and my business plan wasn't materializing by 50%. Surely I was to blame.

My advice for you is to think through things VERY carefully. Depending what your business is and who are your audience, it always pays to be ROI-centric.

If you're trying to convince somebody to do something, you better give it a good presentation.

As veronica178 said, do an intense research. Once you ended, check and double check again. Once you have it, don't run to your friend's house. Do a good presentation: Word, powerpoint, whatever that gives to the people you try to cooperate, a sense of what you're talking about, can exist.

A common vision also helps to a group, to focus in what you want/say, so not every single person is aiming at different places.
