May sound an odd question, but I know I've drifted between banks before, and have cards for about 3 - 2 of which I never use and maybe have a couple of pence or couple of pounds left in them. I think I may have another somewhat with 1p in. I wonder what the interest on that over 50 years would be if I could find the account details?

I just added a new account. I'm using Paypal, and I found out that you can sign up for mutual funds through this account. The interest rate is over 4%, and there is no minimum balance or fees.

Kelkat,
I'd forgotten PayPal, but yes I too have one of those accounts and have had it in Money Market for over a year. It's easy to move to your checking or savings account and easy to send and receive funds from. |

My partner has one! But my wage gets put into one and partners go into another! All the bills get paid out of mine and then we spend all my partners lol! |
