How to sell stock

I'm not sure if this posted the first time, I can't find it so I hope I don't post twice.

My question is about stock. I have a stock certificate for 4500 shares of stock at .45 cents a share.

Where do I go to sell it?

depends what it is, more details please, stock certificate of an exchange traded company or is it private? in a broerage account or in your hands physically?

The certificate is in my hands and it's a public company. I called Charles Schwab and they said because it's under $1 they can not help me. Where do I go?
