I have a Citi card - I got a student card when I was rebuilding my credit that had 0% interest for a year. I started with a $1,000 credit limit and now it's at $5,000, which is nice in case we have a huge emergency (the card is at a 0 balance). I've had no issues with them at all - my sisters both got the same card I did and they have had no issues either.

Love them. Always get cli when I ask. Within the past 3 months they increased by $5k

I don't have citibank card however most of my household members got it. I don't hear them complaining about it at all, they stick with it, so I guess there's nothing bad on it.

I have 2 citi cards one is mastercard and another is barrista card, where I get lot of discounts on preferred barrista food oulets.

I have 3 citi cards.

A diamond, dividend, and at&t universal. Citi closed my universal card. I still don't know why but they did it when my 0% promotion ended and the purchase rate dropped to 9%.

My div has good rates and consistently raise my limit over 4 years but I am never offered any promotional balance transfer offers for some reason. I enjoy the rewards but they are capped annually.

I got the diamond recently and I don't think I like the rewards program. It isn't cash back like the dividend. I probably won't use it much.

Don't get the card. Save up an emergency fund and use your debit card, if you like to use plastic.
