The investment co i decided to invest with is great. Its very low risk high yield and it doubles my money every 4.5yrs..I have the option of receiving quarterly checks off my principle or i can receive a statement....But whats also good about this company is you can come in as an initial investment or you can roll over your retirement plan...Great Great Investment..two thumbs up |

I'm just happy I'm young. During this time I can buy up more stocks at a better price for my long term financial needs. I'm switched up strategies for more long term right now.

A 25% percent loss in one year requires a 47% gain the following year to just keep even with a SAFE investment that's just limping along at 5% per year. People who are at or near age 70 will never make back the recent losses in the market.

There is nothing wrong with moving to cash, especially if your working with someone who is willing to make the move for you. Most institutional advisors are "advised" from their bosses to keep their clients money right where it is under any circumstances. However smaller boutique firms don't have to worry about exploding the market by moving to a 50% cash position like the big banks do.

HEHE ... well obviously the investments are directly tied to the markets and if it's now sitting in cash ... well he might have done 100% in the first 4.5 years, but let's see the return on the next 4.5.
