Index Annuity

Hello,
I have to move my 401. I was looking at a index annuity.
This annuity has a sign on bonus and 10 year charge rate schedule.
My question. Is it smart to move $$ if I am 10 + years from retirement.
I really lost a lot in the 401K. It looks safe to me but don't think I will make much $$.

Sometimes it's not what you gain, but what you don't lose.

Over the past 60 days our indexed annuity clients had zero losses due to market fluctuations.

Gary hit the mark. Annuities offer security even in these times of market fluctuations and an unstable economy. Sorry to hear you lost on your 401K but keep your chin up and consider security and safety over profits.
