I would like to start investing in stock market with say $10,000. I am thinking of a long term strategy for, say 10 years. I should have the ability to trade stocks without incurring much fees, taxes etc. but the money should be available at the end of 10 years(not at retirement). What type of investment account I should start with an online broker? like regular or retirement? Thanks

I use TDAmeritrade they have low fees.

When investing on the stock market it's usually wise to look to 10+ years.

I personally find online broker systems have much lower fees that offline brokers. Shop around, though.

You need to find a reliable and cheap broker. Shop around as there're plenty of them and they charge different fees, watch out for hidden costs as well.
