Default Is my 401K fund "loaded"

I am in the process of setting up my 401K at work. I want to choose load free funds and avoid loaded funds at all costs. But there are two funds I would like to include in my portfolio that have loads of 5.75%. I've learned that some plans waive the loads for retirement 401K's. So I contacted my plan provider and this is what they said:

-You are investing at net asset value. The NAV does not include sales charge, so the term "invest at NAV" is a common expression for "invest without a sales charge."

So am I or am I not paying a sales charge of 5.75%? Can someone explain to me their response.

Got my answer!
Just learned that 3 fo the 6 funds I would like carry a sales charge. So I'll just pick 3 different ones.
