Default just some advice

If anyone is looking for a good site for online investing, I use dealsjamaica (No affiliation at all, just want to share.) You should research for yourself, but I decided on them after my brother got interested in investing and after doing a lot of research. It is only 5% interest but it is a fund manager and works for me as I am in the Caribbean. It is also very highly rated. Finally, it's easy to work with as after 3 months you can withdraw your money penalty free..
Hope that helps anyone who is looking to invest online.

Thanks for the information cerin. As of late my father-in law has been looking for a new investment site. I'll be sure to let him know that this is another option out there.

Before you do that you may as well open a Money Market Account.

A 5% ROI is not really an investment, in my opinion, or at least a very lousy one. You can almost get that in an MMA with no risk at all.

And with a MMA you are completely liquid and can deal with many top rated banks. Sending money to someone offshore without first hand knowledge is just a bad idea all around.

I would agree with Dru that sending money offshore would be very scary.
If you are living offshore already it's not that risky, I guess.
I am probably overly cautious when it comes to this type of thing.
