Default Re: Leasing vs. buying a car?

I think that buying a car is a better option if the opportunity was given.

I think that if the opportunity is given or that if you have the cash for it then buying it would be a wiser choice but if you don't have the money then I suggest that you lease.

I have never leased a car. But I know quite a few people that do, and they seem to have no problems. It seems like a lot of older people are leasing cars now.

This is a subject me and my partner are having as he wants a much better car on lease!
The way i see it is that you may save on the lease but the insurance will be sky high!
I think he may be going into a mid life crisis lol!
Never the less he still isnt getting one hehe!

Believe it or not - Oprah herself said that people who lease are just trying to get a car they couldn't otherwise afford to drive.

She was doing a show on budgets and was talking about what she learned when it came to leasing cars. None of it was good.

Buy it. That's the best way to go.
