I am a junior at Slippery Rock University currently studying to be a finance major. I was wonder what you guys think I should start looking for to gain good experience, such as internships, etc. Any feedback would be helpful. thanks !

Go talk to your department head.. make an appointment, and discuss what your plans are and would would benefit you and your future goals..
I have a son who is a senior at the university of California... very familiar with your problem.. :-)

I would try to get a job in one of the firms that you aim for when you'll graduate. You'll probably get a lot of NOs but the one YES might be worth it (assuming you can make up some time for a partial job)
