I am struggling to make my mortgage payments every month. I have contacted my lender 3 times in two months to send me infornation on how I can lower my monthly payments. Every time they say they will send information ASAP and apologize...and I have yet to recieve anything. What can I do?

Keep pushing them and find ways to earn extra income. That's your options. You're stuck.

Sounds like us. Our mortgage company has sent us papers to fill out like 4 times. We have even filled them out and sent them in, then they send us more papers!!
We are still in limbo and trying to figure out what to do. I hate to have to seel and move, but am just sick of having no money and struggling.
I guess I just don't understand why it's so hard to get mortgage companies to work with you. It's not like we don't want to pay, we just can't continue paying such a high payment. Why don't they work with us???

My husband and I had the same issue. We got a loan modification which totally solved the problem, thank GOD.

the lenders have so many houses to deal with, but they are horrible at negotiating with you. I had to get a loan modification company to help us instead. They negotiated for us with an attorney.

now we get to stay in our house, and our payment is much MUCH lower... we were at $3,000 a month and now we're at less than $2000. My husband lost his job (banking) so we were able to show enough financial hardship.

if you can show financial hardship a loan modification company should be able to help you

Keep after them, speak with the management, if possible.
