Default Noob in retirement

I just entered the work force and I'm enrolled into the Tiaa-Cref 2045 program.

I'm currently contributing about $250 a month, while my employer matches $175.

If I do retire in 2045, how much should I be getting back? Would I take a lump sum or will it be like a pension?

Thanks.

this highly depends on the interest you'll be getting.
let's leave aside inflation and discuss nominal yield of 4% to 8% per year (higher rate means higher risk though...). we also leave aside the management fees and different commisions.

with 4% for 35 years you will have 390K$

with 8% you will have 949K$....
