has anyone used Zopa before. These offer a service like this but i got put off with the thought of borrowing money from other people using the site as a broker

Yes they are options where you can get online loans very easily but there should be proper research on them. It would be better if you can go to the bank personally because that will give you more confidence because you will know the person and the chances for fake people will be less. Althougth online loans are more convenient, but you are the one to figure out what would be best...

Yes I think that is a great idea, you can consult all your finantial doubts, and they usually are very friendly because is an impersonal treatment. But if you are sure and you want to deal with them a mortgage or loan, you´ll meet them in person the day that you sing your mortgage or loan.

My experience : there are more than enought of those online lenders that are more than willing to give almost everyone a online loan - Apply for a loan and you will often get the answer the same day. I can't really se the dfferent between going in to a bank or apply online - the question is : Do you really need to lend money ?

There are some very bad suggestions here! Why would you BORROW money to pay off a debt - which is - MONEY YOU BORROWED!!!! You are only digging a deeper hole!! Go to the library and read some books - that's what they are there for! Educate yourself and work harder. Stop borrowing and spending!

I think is a good idea, but be careful! not all this companies are safe. Compare prices in several of them, and chose the best for your needs!
