I am currently working on finding a topic for my theses. I thought of doing it on the credit rating agencies, however there has already been such like topics previously and i wish to make an original title out of this topic. Can anyone help Please????

Daniela, you will find almost any topic covered, the broader the most, use SSRN and look which papers are there on credit rating agencies, quite a lot on their faults in the current crisis, but you will not find many on a specific topic, since you are in Malta why don't you look if there has been a private placement out of Malta and talk to the issuer about their experience with rating offices and make a study on the details and problems Rating agencies have with specific placements, in addition you have Africa on the forefront of the business community outlook and in front of your home, why not do something in relation to that or a study of the Lybian underground currency trade in Valeta......
