Definitely stay away from payday lenders at all costs! They are sharks and most of them are illegal. Several people have been scammed by these payday lenders and have had to close their bank accounts and open new ones to get away from them since they just keep debiting their accounts, even after the loan is paid off. The fees that most of them charge are illegal and payday loans are becoming illegal in many states, including my state. You will end up paying a good $800 back even if you only borrowed $300.

I agree with shahab see if you can borrow the money from a friend or family member. Getting a pay day is bad news and should never be done no matter what financial situation you find yourself in.

Many people live this close to the edge their whole life. You need to purpose yourself to never let this happen again.

That means, don't spend a penny on any wants until you have an emergency fund.

Live on less than you earn, period(At all times). Give up whatever it takes to do so, cells, beer, ciggerettes, eatingout, pop, candy, too much house, too much car, latte's, movies etc.
