Default payment on the internet with Maestro

Hello. I need a help with payment with a credit card in USA. I have never bought anything on the internet, so I am confused. I have the Maestro bank card from the Austrian bank. When I want to pay on the internet I have to choose “credit card type“, but I can choose only from Visa, Mastercard, American express, Diners club, JCB, Carte Blanche and Discover/Novus. What should I choose? Is Mastercard and Maestro the same? When I am asked to write CVV2 what does it mean? I know my questions might be stupid, but thank you for any help.

Nadiki, yes the Maestro card is a MasterCard so cose that option.

As far as the CVV2 code, this is usually a 3 to 4 digit number normally printed on the end of the white signature strip on the back of the card.

Hope that helps.
