Default Sharebuilder?

do you guys think id be doing alright if i let sharebuilder invest about $300.00 every month into whatever stocks portfolio builder decides i should invest in??? i just want a place to keep my money for the future...

Symbol Name Allocation Amount
AGG LEHMAN AGG BOND FUND ISHARES 7.00 % $21.00
EFA EURO-ASIA INDX (MSCI-ISHARES) 14.00 % $42.00
IWD RUSSELL 1000 VALUE (ISHARES) 41.00 % $123.00
IWF RUSSELL 1000 GROWTH (ISHARES) 27.00 % $81.00
TIP LEH US TREAS INF FD (ISHARES) 11.00 % $33.00
Total 100.00% $300.00

this is what it came up with as a plan for my investments....?? i think it looks like total crap, like my lil bit of money is being spread pretty thinly. i need to invest larger amounts huh?

Well, to be honest, not sure what to say - those funds look pretty diverse.

If you only invest in a stock one time through sharebuilder can you still earn off of it. I was thinking about purchasing about $100 worth in Verizon and just letting it sit. Is that a good idea or would it not be worth it?

Well, if you want to try it, why not go for it.

What I did was pick a couple of companies and I'm buying a few shares every month. I chose local companies because I know people who work for them and they're frequently in the news. That way I can kind of get a handle on what's happening with them. Unless I hear about drastic changes I plan to just hold on to them.
