What loan options are there if you need a small loan amount of say less sthan $1000? Are there any options available?

Look at prosper.com. You can get an unsecured loan for as little as 500 dollars, If I recall correctly.

Around here it is difficult to obtain a very small loan from a bank. I think many of them require something like 1500 and more. There are PayDay loans but I would never suggest using one of these.

Look into a Line of Credit option, sometimes called a quickcash loan, it works like a credit card but you have to go into a bank to get an advance on it (eliminating some of the impulse aspects) Also, Credit Unions will beat banks on interest rates, especially with smaller dollar amounts.

I was just on this site the other day and I was seeing loans for as little as $400. I would say sign up and try this site.

I have found that alot of banks will not got that low on a loan anymore. Would be nice if they did but for some reason they don't give out small loans anymore.

They will look hard at a small loan for one reason...if you need 3-400 bucks to get by, what is the chance you will have the cash to repay the loan. If they have too much risk, or just don't make enough profit on the deal, they are not interested. That is why so many quicky loan places have popped up, charging 500% interest to make it worth their time.

Depending on the state you're borrowing in, a payday loan will cost you between $15 and $17 per $100 borrowed. The loan will be due in 11-30 days. Depending on your personal situation, this could be something to consider.

I know my bank charges $39 for a bounced check, so a payday loan makes sense for me if I'm borrowing $200 or less.

Through Easy Cash Advance Payday Loans you can borrow any amount ranging from US$100 up to US$1500. The amount that you can actually borrow depends upon your personal requirement and the ability to repay. Payday loans can be made use of for any unexpected expenses that may arise before your payday.

Go find extra work and do not borrow the money. Change your life today, get a second job and work this out without borrowing. Build an emergency fund, learn to live on less than you make and save money.

Do NOT listen to these scavangers, payday loans are your worst nightmare. Go to a church or food center for help. Again, I suggest you get a parttime job and spend the next 6 months to a year building an emergency fund and paying off your debts.
