Default start-up financing

I am more of an expert in mortgage financing vs business financing so please don't laugh at what I am about to ask. What type of financing is available for start-ups? Does anybody know?

My general opinion is SLIM TO NONE as far as start-up financing being available.

I guess you can try for and SBA loan - my impression very difficult, very hard to get and probably need loads of security.

I do know there is some start-up financing available via leasing but you're probably looking at 35% rate - literally - and small amounts - $25,000 or so - although you might get 2-3 chunks for a totoal of $50,000 to $75,000.

401k type of financing.

Is there anything else available?

Lending tree is one resource that people finance start ups on.

Venture capitalist, if your idea is that good.

Angels, if you can manage to find them through your realm of personal and professional networks.

Family and friends.

You can sell belongings to finance a start up. Like houses and cars and move into some more "income" efficient.

Getting another job can help someone finance a start-up.

Government grants are all over the place, you just have to find them and supply a winning application.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I agree that you can sell a few of the belongings you don't need. You need to be very liquid, after all.

If this is your first business or you do not have any collateral, i would advise using your own funds or working a different job for income while starting your business. You will much better off growing organically or not starting off in debt.

There are loan companies that are good in accounting, can manage your tax consultation, at the same time they grant loans to companies either for start up or those with a Mega projects that requires funding. i have accross alot of them, their intrest rate is very flexible.
