Student Question

Looking at apple's overview - it opened at 190.71 and it's last price was 190.95, but it says that the change was +2.20 (1.17%) where does that number come from? Why isn't the net change +.24?

Your intuition is correct: the net change is +.24. Wherever you got the numbers, they are incorrect.
