Hi, I'm a 23 year-old student at Ohio State University, and I recently found what it is that I want to do with my life, which is become a financial advisor. After almost 4 years of taking classes with no idea of what I actually wanted to do with my life, I took a full-time job at the place where I worked to try and figure it out. It ended up taking around 2 years for me to figure this all out, and I've still got a decent amount of schooling left, but I'm motivated and working to accomplish my goal and get my degree!
One of the main reasons I decided on this course is that my family has recently fallen on some pretty tough times (mostly caused by my father's financial ineptitude and complete lack of communication between him and my mother about financial matters), and I decided that I want to help as many people as possible so that they don't have to go through what my family has gone through. Sounds a little sappy and holier than thou, but it's damn true. So, I'll be posting on here unless I find a better forum but there's my introduction...haha.
