UK Novice to Stock etc

Hello,

Firstly I'd like to introduce myself to you guys, my name is Vikram and I am 18 years old, and I joined the forum today.

I am in the UK and have had a keen interest in investing into stocks etc, but unfortunately I'm a complete newbie.

I've got an account with Barclay's stock brokers, and funded £100 (pretty lame), but hey its a start. And now I have no idea what to do with it lol.

So I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to offer me some advice, as to where it would be best to invest my 10000 pennies

Wow ok, there is a massive amount of information you need to consider. You also may want to pick yourself up a step by step guide to help you formulate a game plan of your own to follow when you want to invest. You need to educate yourself before you invest big money. And there are lots of things you have to consider,

Do you have any other debts? Any savings? How long can you invest for?

My link has several lessons on how to invest in the stock market if you want to check it out. I also have a few links you may want to read up on if you pm. me i will send you some cool links. But read as much as you can and check out the link for some info u will defo find helpful.

Do you read financial newspapers, like financial times, WSJ?
Start slowly as you have a lot of information to absorb. Start reading financial website and analyse why and when shares go up and down, what affects the markets and so on.
At the same time I'd strongly recommend you buy book by Benjamin Graham 'Intelligent Investor'.
