My daughter has 75 years of a 99 lease remaining on a flat she has purchased. She wrote to the owners and asked if the lease could be extended.. They have offered to sell her the "reversionary interest" for £5000. This cost applies to all the flats i.e. 16 of them. What is reversionary interest and does £5k seem a fair price?.
