Default What is the procedure of getting student loan?

Well there is a lot of students who are going abroad for studies. But the major problem with them are lack of finance. So the only option with them are the student loans which are available. But i was wondering if anyone could tell me the procedure for the student loan?

Any eligible student can take out unsubsidized stafford loans. You will be charged interest from the time the loan is disbursed, to the time the loan is repaid in full. To be eligible, borrowers must prove that the position is full time for at least six months and their loans are not in default. They also must apply for the deferment with each of their lenders.
