Well over in the UK our credit scores work out completely differently. You said 700 or so which is different to us, we have a 1-10 system! And 10 means bad lol, where as 1 means your a good customer.

My rating right now is 2, I was a 1 for a while, but probably because I forgot to pay my phone bill last month, and also due to the crazy credit crunch problems, peoples credit scores get lowered so that there chances of getting a loan are decreased.

My 2 cents, or should I say pennies?

I'm in my early 30's - but I'm too embarrassed to even say what my credit score is

My husband lost his job and we fell behind on all of our payments.

What did you all do to get such high scores? Even when we were making our payments the highest we were at was around 715.

I'm 46 with a score of 699. I have good payment history, but currently carry high debt levels, which I'm finally serious about paying down.

Hey, good news. My score just jumped from 699 to 710. I transferred some credit card debt to mortgage debt during a refinance. I believe secured debt is less damaging than unsecured credit card debt.

I read these scores, and I get even more frustrated. I don't dare tell what mine is. It's shot to say the least. My wife is unemployed, and our debt to income went backwards when that happened. we're finally getting out of debt, but my credit is still in shambles. anybody have any suggestions for credit repair? I'm pretty confident all the negative marks on my report are accurate, so I'm not looking for somebody to "get rid of false marks." Thanks for listening to my sob story...
